A very emotional event took place on Monday, November 11, 2015 at Schneider Childrens Hospital – a gathering of children kidney recipients. The event marked the five-hundredth transplant since the Transplant Department opened and was attended by hundreds of recipients and their families. In addition to informative lectures by Schneider staff members led by Dr. Miriam Davidovits, there were greetings by hospital director Professor Peres, director of the National Transplant Center Dr. Tamar Ashkenazi, Minister of Health Rabbi Yaakov Litzman, and Rabbi Heber.
