An emotional ceremony was held recently at the President’s Residence in Jerusalem in honor of the 400th kidney transplant facilitated by “Matnat Chaim”. The highlight of the ceremony, which included remarks by President Rivlin, Rabbi Heber, head of Matnat Chaim, a kidney donor and a kidney recipient, was the first meeting between the kidney donor and his recipient, two weeks after the transplant.
